Hypergraphia is a disease where you are compelled to write, all the time, everywhere. This is not like your poet friend getting inspired at the Chick-Fil-A and writing down a sonnet on a napkin. It is a compulsive, life-controlling disease. Dr. Alice Flaherty studies hypergraphia from the inside (she developed it after the death of her twins) and well ,what else, wrote a book about it.
