The Oatmeal is a comic-filled bloggy wonderland. If you haven't perused it yet, I suggest putting your feet up, getting a delicious beverage, putting your laptop where it was made to go and have a long read. Enjoy entries like Why I Believe Printers were Sent from Hell and Why I'd Rather be Punched in the Testicles than call Customer Service.
My favorite of the bunch is How to Use a Semicolon: The Most Feared Punctuation on Earth. Hard to not be educated by it and hard not to be entertained with dinosaurs, knuckle shampoos and party gorillas abound.

Who is to say who is the best? Everywritersresource.com that's who.
EWR, a site loaded with interviews with writers, links to journals, writer-related classified and more has put together a list of their view of the twenty best online journals out there.

Of the Best Online Literary Journals they've compiled, I have little argument with most of them. Narrative (#1) is an excellent, well-established journal and somebody's got to be 1. La Petite Zine (#4), Failbetter (#7), and Cafe Irreal (#17) are all awesome and should be in the top 20. But isn't rating something as subjective as literature kind of perverse and meaningless? Yeah, but so are the Academy Awards. Can we really say with certainty that Sean Penn portrayed Harvey Milk better than Mickey Rourke played Randy the Ram? I don't think so, but it's fun doing these kinds of things.

VH-1 makes a living off of these kinds of things. It's time lit journals were thrown in that mix. Plus it gives us some quality options for submitting. Take a look at the list and argue, agree or scoff.
