Hi everybody, First of all I would like to apologise to Lakshmi for announcing this event so late, I did not really do it on purpose, as I had no access to net connection I was not able to post this announcement, Lakshmi please do forgive me.
After a long interval I am back, actually not really back, I might start blogging regularly may be after 2 weeks , I am in India, and very busy with family and friends and a small function and most importantly no net connection, I had almost forgotten how a comp looks like!, I was lucky today I am in my sis's house and luckily BIL is at home :), making use of this opportunity I am posting this event, which was already typed and ready to go, I was just waiting for the logo and April 20th, which is long bygone with no net connection, My sincere apologies to lakshmi and next host of this event, for the delay in posting this wonderful event!.
I know I will be missing T and T of Chef and her Kitchen announced by Sushma of Savi-ruchi, I love her blog, as she cooks more like me and had Book marked somethings I wanted to try which I have to wait until I am back :(, no net, no new recipes, I feel so bad!.
Coming back I am so delighted to Host this event, which is one of my favourite events, this event was started by zlamushka and is now taken care of by Lakshmi of Kitchen Chronicles, I don't have to introduce you to Deeba's Passionate about Baking blog, she is so creative, beautiful photos, drool worthy recipes, lot of original creations, lot of recipes you can find from scratch and of course if you love baking here is a wonderful space you can just love to try with no regrets, I love her blog and hope that you all love her blog too...,
So let's start trying out some recipe (s) from her blog....

Hi everybody thanks for participating in my Bloggers Marathon, with Raks Kitchen. I received some mails saying that they have not been able to post the recipes for various reasons, If you send me the mail or link for the recipe I will certainly include it in my round-up. As the linky would have closed by now.
I had planned to post this yesterday but I have been very sick, My neck has become too worst, need to go and see the doctor today, hoping everything will be alright, I am suffering from Migraine too. Sorry for posting this so late.

I had planned to post this yesterday but I have been very sick, My neck has become too worst, need to go and see the doctor today, hoping everything will be alright, I am suffering from Migraine too. Sorry for posting this so late.

Hi friends, I have been wanting to Start this Event from a very long time. Hoping you would all enjoy this event.
When I post recipes from other blogs, Some unique and wonderful recipes that attract me to try out and enjoy making and sharing it with my family gives me such an immense pleasure, not only just cooking or baking the recipe, sometimes shows me into a new whole world about the cuisine, creation, the looks and of course the best in all the wonderful taste which it imparts in your mouth tingling your senses and make you think about that blog and go back for it more and more right ?.
Well, I don't know if it does for you or not, but it does for me :)), (of course just joking I know you also enjoy it like me).
I love every blogger here in this world of food blogging, Food is something which doesn't have a Full stop, that is why I think food business always thrives, recession or whatever food industry always survives right ?
Oops I am going away from the topic..
So, what was I saying, As I said I love trying out recipes from other blogs and I love to participate in these Tried and Tested event, Bookmarked recipes and all the events which go around bringing out the blogger friends to try out recipes from other bloggers is what attracts me the most. I wanted to start this event because I have come to know that we have so many bloggers and it will take ages for me to try out something from every blogger out there, this Idea I thought would be Interesting to you all too..., who love to try out recipes from other blogger friends.
In this thought I wanted to start an event similar to these but with a little variation and wanted to call it Bloggers Marathon, that is I will Introduce one blogger each week and we have to cook at least one recipe from that blogger's web site, and the most important thing is, It must be an Original Recipe, that is the recipe must be blogger's OWN recipe, but, the recipe posted in their blogs can or might have been made by tips from their family, friends and books, but not been tried and tested by any other blog.
Hoping that you might have understood what I have been trying to tell you, Let's get into the Marathon then...
As I have always told you that after I started my blog I was kind of really introduced to this blogging world by my dear friend Raji of Raks Kitchen, I always feel very happy when she visits my blog and leaves her comments, through her I got introduced to this world of blogging, I have a few people to name like that, and it is such a wonderful thing that I have made friends with lots of you and hoping to meet you all one day :)).
I would like to start my Blogger Marathon with
Raks Kitchen
Here are the Guide lines:
1.Post as many recipes as you want, any archieved recipes is fine link this page to it,
2.Only vegetarian recipes, eggs allowed
3.Only Original Recipes, Should not be tried and tested from any other blogs.
4. Use the Logo above, if possible to spread the word around.
5. Use the Linky below to attach your posts
6. Post your entries between 6th to 20th of February
7. If you have queries please mail me at cookingisdivine@gmail.com
Hey I forgot something else, non-bloggers send me your created dish and mail to me I will publish it with your name, see if you can possible send me a click of your dish which I can post too...
Note: If you find hard to find vegetables and fruits etc., like some non-availability of them for lots of reasons you can substitute and make the dish but please stick to the procedure and the Ingredients of the original recipe as much as possible.
Looking forward to all your recipes from her kitchen to yours and to mine.

Hope you all had a wonderful Diwali celebrations, Hope everything is back to normal routine life.., I have been quite tired from past 2 weeks with lot of things going on apart from the festive mood. Long back when I saw Priya announcing cooking with seeds event I got tempted and thought I would also like to host an event and wrote to her, she immediately was happy to give this month's slab, I never thought about it then, that I had lot of things to do this month, few days back I wrote to priya rather she wrote to me to remind me of my event hosting, I felt very bad for not communicating to her, I wrote back to her and told her about the seed I had chosen already and told her that I wanted to wait until November 10th till the festive and holiday mood calms down, she agreed that it was perfect. So, here I am with my announcement, and my apologise to the next month's event holder Niloufer of Kitchen Samraj... Check out her blog for next month's event announcement....
Coming back to the CWS - Event which was started by Priya of Priya's Easy N Tasty Recipes..., I don't have to introduce priya, she is a blogger who dares to try out , venture into lots of cuisines and does lot of innovative cooking, She is the brain child of this event and I have chosen Anardana seeds for this wonderful ongoing event...........
This is my first venture in my blogging world, where I have made new friends, new ventures in my cooking world, different cuisines, different spices, and lots of new different ideas in baking and lots of things I have learnt with not just cooking but different things... This is my new step to this lovely world of blogging..., Even though as always I have repeatedly told you I have cooked, baked for different events, I have never been able to post things on time, and miss it so much because of lot of things in my life basically my health, keeps me on a roller coaster ride, as right now I am suffering from a headache, but I just decided whatever it is I am going to do this post, as tomorrow is November 10th and I feel so guilty if I don't do it now, betraying priya, as she had faith in me that I wouldn't let her down :).
I chose Pomegranate seeds as I have not used it in my cooking, I had seen some recipes related to this seeds in some blogs I had bookmarked them too.., I do not know much about this seed so I was curious to know the uses and the value, I mean health benefits of this seeds, I did some googling but really couldn't find much about this seed but lot about Pomegranate fruit.
I have come to know that this fruit derives from the Latin word Pomum (apple) and granates means seeds, It is said its origin is from the region of Persia and Himalayan ranges, In Persia Anar + Dana means Pomegranate seeds. These seeds are said to be made from Dark wild Poms they are too sour to eat fresh and are sticky spice, gives tartness to dishes..., So give me all your old, new and innovative recipes in cooking or baking from this seed....
Here is what you need to do...
- Prepare any recipe/remedy with this seed.
- Only vegetarian/vegan please as my blog features only vegetarian/vegan recipes.
- Post your dishes from 10th November to 10th December
- Multiple entries are welcome
- Link back entry to CWS - Event announcement page and to Priya's Event Announcement page.
- Using Logo is your choice
- Will accept old entries if you just link the recipe to the event announcement page, no need of reposting.
- You are welcome to post anything useful you know about this seed.
