Samsung, one of the well-known consumer Electronics manufacturer has officially announced a new smartphone namely, Samsung Gio SHW-M290S/K in South Korean market. It was previously announced in Mobile World Congress 2011. The upcoming smartphone of Samsung runs on Android 2.2 operating system, boasts an 800MHz processor and supports up to 32GB expandable memory through micro SD memory card slot. It is also equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity options. The device has a Hyperskin battery cover which protects the handset from scratches, fingerprints and improves grip as well as gives a luxury look to the smartphone.
The Samsung Gio SHW-M290S/K Smartphone also support for DivX and T-DMB. It comes in two different color options i.e., silver white and dark silver. The Samsung Gio SHW-M290S/K Smartphone will be available at the price tag of 500,000 won (about $463).
